The CSULB student program office and the Department of Journalism & Mass Communication are hosting a forum on net neutrality–principles we all rely on every time we stream a video, surf the web and download music. Panelists include David Lazarus, business columnist for the Los Angeles Times; Arturo Carmona, executive director of Presente.org, a national Hispanic advocacy organization; Kathay Feng, Executive Director of California Common Cause; and Gwen Shaffer, assistant professor in the Department of Journalism & Mass Communication. (Broadcast Prof. John Shrader will moderate.)
The forum will be held in the CSULB Student Union Ballroom on Wed., March 11. Doors open at 5:30 pm with refreshments, and the panel will start at 6 pm.
